From the South
Ramsbottom is easily accessible from the M66 motorway. Exit junction 1 if you are coming from Manchester. Turn right off the motorway slip road and follow signs for Ramsbottom. Turn left at traffic lights following the Ramsbottom sign dropping down a steep road into the town. Proceed over the Level crossing of the old steam railway, carrying on up the hill to the traffic lights, there are shops on either side of this street. When you come to a set of traffic lights go straight through and take an immediate right onto the cobbled stones in front of the Grants Arms. The Civic Hall is facing you. Bear left up into the car park.
From the North
Travelling into Ramsbottom from the Burnley area on the M66 you will take the turn off sign posted for Ramsbottom. As you leave the slip road you join a big roundabout follow it round taking the third on the left again sign posted for Ramsbottom. Continue down the hill following this road you will go through a set of traffic lights then under a railway bridge, continue along this road, passing a Fire station on the left. At the next set of traffic lights turn right and then take an immediate right again onto the cobbled stones in front of the Grants Arms. The Civic Hall is facing you. Bear left up into the car park.
